Liz Booker

Liz Booker is a retired Coast Guard Commander, helicopter pilot, and foreign diplomat with her fixed and rotary wing commercial pilots' license (SEL/SES), a Master of Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She retired after 28 years to write full-time.

Liz hosts the Aviatrix Book Club, the Literary Aviatrix website, podcast, and YouTube channel, and promotes books featuring women in aviation as @LiteraryAviatrix on social media. She continues to fly recreationally--a.k.a. 'research'.
